This capoeira training program is not meant to train people to be fighters nor is it intended to change people from what they are.  It is mainly to give them self-confidence in their ability to achieve their goals and to do whatever it takes to reach the goals that they set for themselves in their lives. The focus of the class is not only to learn a martial art, but also the cultural and philosophical side of capoeira, the art, the music, the language, it’s roots. The students’ talents and abilities are fostered through patience and understanding, with a focus on discipline and personal dedication to this beautiful Brazilian art.
